Assumption RC School is located in the small town of Oyen, in eastern Alberta.  Oyen has a population of approximately 1300.  Oyen offers a small-town pace of life.  It is a town with a friendly, family oriented atmosphere.  The town offers a variety of activities for the people of Oyen.  You’ll find a curling rink, hockey rink, several baseball fields, a brand new swimming pool, and a golf course. The atmosphere in the school reflects the closeness of the community.

Our school has a current enrollment of 44 students.  We provide a Catholic educational experience for pre-kindergarten to grade six.  We have a teaching staff of four dedicated, caring individuals that work as a team to ensure your child receives a quality education.  In addition, we provide a comprehensive early intervention program to complement in-class instruction.  The Alberta Achievement Test results are a clear indication of the quality of education the children receive at Assumption RC School.
