| Effective February 1, 2010 – we have an opening for a part time (20 hours per week) Facility Assistant at schools in the community of Okotoks. The successful candidates will be reliable, trustworthy, hard working and self starters. Duties are varied and will include though are not limited to: building and grounds inspections, minor maintenance, snow removal, custodial work, weeding of garden beds and meeting set up and take down as required. The hours of work are from 7:00 am to 11:00 am on school days. Please submit your resume and a letter of reference to the Director of Facilities. | We are currently accepting applications for:
Seasonal Workers – (full time temp) 40 hours per week - all communities, beginning early May and continuing until the end of August. Providing assistance to our custodial and maintenance departments, the successful applicant will be a self-starter, able to work independently, be enthusiastic, physically fit and reliable. Experience with maintenance, custodial work and/or landscaping would be considered an asset. Our summer students earn from 14.00– 16.25 per hour, 40 hours per week regardless of weather conditions. | Effective mid April we require a full time (37.5 hours per week) Administrative Assistant at The Centre for Learning @ Home based in Okotoks.
Our Administrative Assistant will be responsible for student file maintenance, text book orders and distribution, work experience tracking, correspondence courses and scheduling exams. Our successful candidate will require strong computer skills, a professional telephone manner, be well organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. There is occasional heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs).
This position is 7.5 hours per day, 218 days per year.
