Christ The Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools is pleased to announce Kirk Orr as Director of Corporate Services

Mr. Kirk Orr brings extensive experience to CTR Catholic. He has been an integral part of the Christ the Redeemer team for the past five years, serving first as an Accountant and, most recently, as the Interim Director of Corporate Services. Mr. Orr holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Mount Royal University and obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation through the CPA Western School of Business. He brings significant specialized expertise in corporate tax, audit, provincial financial reporting, and strategic resource management. Beyond his technical proficiency, Mr. Orr is deeply involved in the broader educational landscape, particularly within the Association of School Business Officials of Alberta (ASBOA), where he has been appointed to serve as the Zone 4 Vice-Chair beginning in July. His leadership philosophy is rooted in servant leadership, a value he carries into his community as a youth soccer coach, church volunteer, and former mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Mr. Orr’s focus is to provide stable, transparent, and strategic financial stewardship that allows CTR’s principals and staff to remain focused on their primary mission of equipping students and families for success. 

Mr. Orr shares, “I have developed a profound respect for the dedication and faith-filled environment that defines CTR. I am humbled by this opportunity and accept my permanent appointment with a commitment to stability and continuous improvement. I am honored to continue to serve this division and to work alongside such a dedicated leadership team in supporting our school communities.”  

Incoming Associate Superintendent Diana Atkinson shares, “I have had the opportunity to work with Mr. Orr over the past four years through my work as a principal, and I have always been impressed by his depth of technical expertise and thoughtful approach to supporting schools. I look forward to working more closely with him and have the highest level of confidence in the skills and leadership he will bring in service of our division.”
