New Associate Superintendent Named
Christ the Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools is pleased to announce Pat MacDonald as Associate Superintendent of Learning for The Redeemer Catholic Schools.
Congratulations to Mrs. Pat MacDonald who has accepted the position of Associate Superintendent with Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools.
Mrs. MacDonald began her teaching career in 1988 in northern Alberta before joining Christ The Redeemer Catholic Schools in 1991. Her first placement was at Good Shepherd School in Okotoks, Alberta. Throughout her career, she has assumed diverse roles such as an elementary teacher, homeschool teacher / facilitator, Early Reading Intervention lead teacher, English Language Learning lead teacher, Vice-Principal and finally as Principal of Holy Spirit Academy in High River, Alberta.
Mrs. MacDonald is a passionate advocate for students and will bring her love for teaching into her new role as Associate Superintendent. She is very excited to be joining a strong team at Central Office in providing service and support to all CTR Catholic Schools. Mrs. MacDonald resides in High River with her husband Mark, and together they have three grown children who are all teachers.
Mrs. MacDonald shares, “I am feeling blessed and excited to have this new role that incorporates many things that I am passionate about; Catholic education, working collaboratively with CTR staff, and contributing to a culture of excellence.”
Superintendent Dr. Scott Morrison shares, “Christ the Redeemer’s pillars include faith, academic excellence, and safe and caring schools. As an elementary school principal, Mrs. MacDonald has established a long track record of unqualified success in each of those three areas. She is respected by all and will be a strong addition to CTR’s leadership team.”
Mrs. MacDonald will begin her new role in May, replacing Mrs. Mariette Moss who is retiring.
