Staff Announcement - Vice Principal Holy Family Academy

Congratulations to Mrs. Beth Larson who has accepted the position of Vice Principal of Holy Family Academy. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, Mrs. Larson began her teaching career at Holy Family Academy in 2002.  

Mrs. Larson has taught a variety of grades as well as taking on the role of Learning Support. As an Edwin Parr nominee and Master Teacher at Holy Family Academy, Mrs. Larson has taken on various leadership roles in multiple capacities, most recently that of Indigenous lead teacher.  Mrs. Larson completed the Start Right Program for Beginning School Leaders and continues to attend professional development to meet the needs of all students.  

In accepting the role as Vice Principal of Holy Family Academy, Mrs. Larson shares, “I am honored to serve in this new role.  I value the faith-filled culture of our school and the dedication of our staff in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.” 

Holy Family Principal Mr. Mike Fleck shares, “Mrs. Larson is a dynamic educator and a Master Teacher with a wealth of experience at the early elementary level.  Most recently, she has served as our Learning Support teacher and has served some of our most vulnerable students with utmost care and grace.  She is an active member of our Parish, organized, and highly motivated.  Her varied experiences make her uniquely qualified for the role of Vice Principal of Holy Family Academy.”
