Congratulations to Mrs. Celeste Schrock who has accepted the position of Principal of St. Anthony's School.

After graduating from the Nova Scotia Teachers College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Education, Mrs. Schrock moved west to begin her teaching career at St. Anthony’s School as a junior high PE and Math teacher.  In 2001 she completed her Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Mount St. Vincent University.  In 2005, when a second Vice-Principal position was added to the school, Mrs. Schrock was given the opportunity to join the school administrative team.  She has served in that role ever since.  Over the years Mrs. Schrock has taught a range of grades from elementary to high school and a variety of subjects.

Mrs. Schrock shares, “St. Anthony’s School has a long history of high-quality, Catholic Education in the Drumheller Valley.   It is an honor to be given the responsibility of continuing that tradition as the next Principal.”

Superintendent Dr. Scott Morrison shares, “Mrs. Schrock is a long-serving and talented member of the St. Anthony’s School community. She is a master teacher with superb interpersonal skills, and she’s committed to maintaining St. Anthony’s level of excellence.”

Mrs. Schrock will begin her transition to St. Anthony's School in the spring.
