Christ The Redeemer Catholic Schools is committed to openness, accountability and the protection of personal information. This page provides information about how to request records under Alberta’s Access to Information Act (ATIA).
Request Records or Information
Under Alberta’s Access to Information Act, individuals have the right to request access to records in the custody or under the control of Christ The Redeemer Catholic Schools, subject to limited and specific exceptions.
To begin an access request, complete and sign the Access to Information Request Form. Please provide as much detail as possible to help CTR Catholic identify and locate the records being requested.
If you are requesting personal information on behalf of another person, including as a lawyer, agent or representative, you must provide written authorization or proof of authority before records can be processed or released.
Request Student Records
You may need to request student records, confirmation letters or transcripts for government applications, school registration outside the Division, personal records, or other official purposes.
To request student records or related documentation, please contact the school your child attends or last attended. If you are unsure where to begin, contact CTR Catholic’s Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator for assistance.
Fees and Payment
There is no initial fee to request access to your own personal information or your child’s personal information.
A $25 initial fee may apply to general information requests. Additional fees may apply depending on the scope, volume or complexity of the request. CTR Catholic will advise you if a fee estimate or additional payment is required.
