Catholic Faith
Catholic Faith Infused Learning
CTR will continue to infuse faith in all that we do to teach our students that every individual is created in the image of God. We welcome any student/family that desires Catholic education… whether they are Catholic or not!
Permeated with the Catholic Faith
At Christ The Redeemer Catholic Schools, Christianity is the foundation of everything that we do. The Catholic faith is found in every aspect of the education we provide.
In formal religious education classes, students receive a deep understanding of scripture, Church teaching, sacraments, morality, and justice. Students explore the life and teachings of Jesus as related through sacred scripture, and learn about the traditions and practices of the Church that guide the development of conscience and living out the faith.
Catholic education is not limited to religious education classes, however. Learning about what it means to live in the Catholic worldview is woven into every aspect of school life. Christianity flows throughout all subject matter, whether that be social studies or science, mathematics or language arts, physical education or the arts. Our teachers teach the whole student, intentionally looking for where the faith overlaps with the subject matter, fostering an environment where students grow academically, spiritually, and morally.
Beyond the classroom, there is a lived experience of Christian faith in daily prayer, school liturgies, good works, and retreats. We walk with our students as they grow in faith, hope, and charity. We strive to nurture disciples of Jesus who will change the world, and Leave Not One Heart Behind. The Catholic faith is not just something we believe, not just something we teach—it is something we live.
