Dr. Matt McIsaac named Chair of CTR Catholic Board of Trustees

Christ The Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools is pleased to announce that Dr. Matt McIsaac has been named Chair of the Board of Trustees following the Board’s annual organizational meeting held Thursday, June 18.

Dr. McIsaac, who serves as the trustee for Canmore and area, succeeds Andrea Keenan, Foothills and area trustee, in the role of Board Chair. Andrew Gustafson, trustee for Okotoks and area, will continue to serve as Vice-Chair.

“I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to act as chair for the CTR Board of Trustees. I pray that the strength of our Catholic faith at CTR will continue to unify our Board to guide our division in continued achievement of stellar results for student outcomes in learning, satisfaction and wellbeing, and in our faith development through deepening encounter with Jesus.”

CTR Catholic Superintendent Dr. Andrea Holowka said she looks forward to working with Dr. McIsaac in his new leadership role.

“We are grateful for Andrea Keenan’s many years of dedicated service as Board Chair and for the leadership, faith, and commitment she has provided to CTR. We are equally grateful for Dr. Matt McIsaac’s willingness to assume this role and continue offering strong, faith-filled leadership. His commitment to Catholic education and student success will help guide our Board and division as we continue to build on CTR’s strengths and advance our priorities of Catholic Faith, Academic Excellence, and Healthy Schools,” she said.

CTR Catholic also extends sincere appreciation to Andrea Keenan for her leadership and service as Board Chair for the past 4 years.
