We are now accepting applications for Non-Certificated Classroom Supervisors (NCCS). Casual, on call positions are available at all CTR Catholic schools. Under the direction of the administrator, NCCS' will supervise students, maintain a positive learning environment, and follow a set day plan in the event a teacher is absent and a certified substitute teacher is not available. A Bachelors degree or diploma in a field related to youth, education, social work, or recreation, and 3-5 years of experience working with youth, is preferred. CTR Catholic Education Centre staff received a unique blessing from Father Vijay Bathineni at St. James Parish today. The blessing was for our vehicles! As many CTR staff travel across the division's diverse geographic area from Okotoks, High River, Canmore, Strathmore, Drumheller, Brooks and Oyen throughout the school year, Father blessed the staff and their vehicles for safe travel. Thank you Father!🙏❤

Transportation Notice for BUS ROUTE 33: Parents and students, please note Route 33 will be delayed this morning. In town stops will be picked up between 8:30 am and 8:35 am. Southland Transportation is contacting rural families to make arrangements if needed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for families. This affects students from Holy Trinity Academy and École Good Shepherd School.

In preparation for the start of the school year, CTR teachers and staff gathered together for an opening professional development day in Okotoks today. The day began with mass and a blessing from Bishop McGrattan, a tradition at CTR, this was followed by the installation of our new Superintendent Dr. Andrea Holowka. The afternoon was focused on professional learning and teacher planning. Classes begin on Tuesday, Sept. 5!

CTR Catholic welcomed 41 new teachers to the CTR family this week! The teachers gathered for two days of learning and orientation. On the final day, CTR staff extended a traditional farewell blessing to the teachers as they look ahead to welcoming students to the classroom next week. 🙏
