Congratulations to all our Excellence in Teaching Award winners. The Excellence in Teaching Award is presenting in recognition of superior teaching characterized by exceptional levels of student learning, exemplary commitment, and the creation of strong relationships. This year's winners were presented with their award by Okotoks Trustee Andrew Gustafson during the annual CTR Awards Evening held in Strathmore last week. They include: Shanna Burns, Holy Cross Collegiate; Jeff Roman, Notre Dame Collegiate; Toni Hanulik, Holy Spirit Academy; Nora Moran, Holy Trinity Academy; Keri Andrew, Christ The King Academy; Meaghan Patterson, Sacred Heart Academy; Marie O’Shea, The Centre for Learning@HOME; Tara-Lyn Westlake, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy; Christian Schell, St. Joseph's Collegiate; Candace MacIsaac, École Good Shepherd School; Rebecca Ledger, St. Mary's School; Jennifer Hall, St. Francis of Assisi Academy; Kaylie Amundson, Holy Family Academy; and Amy Baldwin, St. John Paul II Collegiate.

The Above and Beyond Award is in recognition of performance characterized by selfless dedication, unquestioning commitment and superior skill. This year's winners were presented with their award by Brooks Trustee John de Jong during the annual CTR Awards Evening held in Strathmore last week. They include: Michelle Leitner, Holy Cross Collegiate; Joel Windsor, Notre Dame Collegiate; Brittany Currie, Holy Spirit Academy; Sam Aiello, Holy Trinity Academy; Madison Rousselle, Christ The King Academy; Lisa Scarpelli, Sacred Heart Academy; Paul Hudec, The Centre for Learning@HOME; Janell Toews, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy; Jessica McInnis, St. Joseph's Collegiate; Jennifer Parkin, École Good Shepherd School; Lizbeth Dube, St. Anthony's School; KeriLyn Creelman, St. Mary's School; Roxanne Bruketa, St. Francis of Assisi Academy; Peter Jasinsky, St. Anthony’s School; Juliana Ragot, Holy Family Academy; Andrea McGeachie, St. John Paul II Collegiate; and Maureen MacLennan, St. Thomas Center.

The Power of One Award is in recognition of someone who contributes to the Vision, Mission and Fundamental Beliefs of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools; shows an outstanding commitment to supporting all stakeholders; shows initiative and resourcefulness; has a positive, helpful and caring attitude; is viewed by colleagues as a builder of relationships; contributes to a positive work environment and is viewed as improving morale. This year's winners were presented with their award by Foothills Trustee and Board Chair Andrea Keenan during the annual CTR Awards Evening held in Strathmore last week. They include: Andrea Culshaw, Holy Cross Collegiate; Jaime Schulte-Spencer, Notre Dame Collegiate; Leanne Cyr, Holy Spirit Academy; Patrick Jimmo, Holy Trinity Academy; Paula Camacho, Christ The King Academy; Margaret Yungwirth, Sacred Heart Academy; Rhonda Sapsford, The Centre for Learning@HOME; Elaine Caissie, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy; Kimberly Bouchard, St. Joseph's Collegiate; Jodi Bonham, École Good Shepherd School; Angie Landry, St. Anthony's School Leah Alford, St. Mary's School; Susanne Oginski, St. Francis of Assisi Academy; Coralee Jakobsen, Holy Family Academy; Cindy Power, St. John Paul II Collegiate; and Jennifer Carriere, Catholic Education Centre.
