His Holiness, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, has died today. His Holiness served as Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Christ, and Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church from 2005 to 2013. Join with us in prayer as we pray for the repose of the soul of this Servant of the Servants of God.

CTR superintendents make a point to visit our schools throughout the year and participate in student activities and teacher observations. What a great time of year for a visit!

Transportation Update, Dec. 22 6:12 am: All of our schools are open, but extremely cold temperatures and severe wind chills will dictate that bus routes will not run today in most of our communities. In-town buses will run in Strathmore and Drumheller only. Rural routes in these communities will not run. All other buses in our five other communities have been cancelled once again due to extreme temperatures and wind chill. We apologize for this continued disruption. Great Learning Starts at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools! Register today for kindergarten and pre-kindergarten! Students must be five years of age by Dec. 31, 2023. Registration in our kindergarten program guarantees placement in Grade 1 and beyond. We accept registrations year round. We welcome all students whether they are Catholic or not. In the spirit of Advent almsgiving and prayer, the Diocese of Calgary raises awareness and collects for the needs of Mission Mexico every year on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, December 12.
